You'll visit with them at home, see them on the job, and find out what makes their stories special. In addition, this site will provide you with information about local entertainment happenings and a lot of other neat and useful stuff you won't find anywhere else. Updates will be posted on the 1st and 15th of the month, and new features will be added over time.

Our professional staff has a strong background in journalism and web production. Publisher Buddy Roberts, described by the American Journalism Review as "a thorough young reporter," is a two-time recipient of the Georgia Press Association's Otis A. Brumby Trophy for best serious column and has earned almost a dozen other state and national news writing and photography awards. Chattanooga Profile's site design is a collaboration of the professional talents of Philip Nichols, Jess Roberts, and James Watson of CyberGeek Solutions.

At Chattanooga Profile, our belief is that the area needs a quality source for intelligent, well-written material about the fascinating people who live, work and visit here. That's our purpose. But there are some things it's best not to expect. For example: edgy material, irreverent attitude, risqué humor, and photos of partygoers in varying degrees of undress. If that's the material you're interested in, it's definitely available around town. But you won't find it here.
